In the Air..,

It is just about 9:00 pm Est and we are flying over is Iceland. 

So, I haven't flown much and never internationally. It has been many years sincey last flight. So, these are my observations:

1. The planes are louder than I recall. I am grateful for my iPod. 

2. They serve dinner and snacks on long flights and I also hear we will be getting breakfast. 

3.  I'm buying a donut for these long flights:)

4. The movies are now on tablets attached to the seat in front of you. So, we can each have our own movie choices. I seem to recall the in-flight movie being projected and you had the choice of earphones or not. 

5. No matter what you think, it is harder to sleep than you expect. Except for some select few:). I'm sure Rosemary is one of the select:)!

6. There tends to be pockets of turbulence over the ocean. 

7. We were provided with our own pillow and blanket. Since all my previous flights were domestic and fairly short we didn't receive these comforts. 

8. I need a block to put my feet on, my legs are too short!

9. When booking flights be sure to request your entire party is seated together. 

10. And this one is for my Grandmother, as I am sure she is very excited we are finally making this trip!  The airport toilets have aromatic seat covers. The days of covering the toilet with toilet paper are
